THE WRITER’S TREASURY OF IDEAS
I have no trouble coming up with ideas for short stories which is lucky as I need to write at least six a month. When I realised that other people don’t find it as easy as I do, I wrote this book. It’s basically ‘a teach yourself how to find ideas’ book. All kinds of different ways to generate plots are described, plus there are exercises and examples, designed to get your mind buzzing with ideas.
This is a follow up to THE WRITER’S TREASURY OF IDEAS containing many more ways and ideas to help writers come up with stories. The format is similar.
SAVING SAM AND OTHER DOG TALES
For dog lovers of all ages, this story collection features just a few of the stories I have written over the years. Dogs play an important part in all of them. An ideal gift for any dog lover.
HOW TO WRITE STORIES WITH TWIST ENDINGS
Stories which end with a twist are another of my specialities. They are much harder to write than people think. This easy to follow book will guide you through the process, allowing you to write stories that surprise readers in a good way, rather than annoying them when the twist comes out of thin air.
THE SHOP ON THE CORNER
So far, this is my only completed novel. The story revolved round the shop on the corner which sells tropical fish. It’s not a great read but it’s worth a look.
